Configure Estimate Table Settings
Background
Customizing your estimate settings allows you to control how data is grouped, taxed, and priced. By adjusting these toggles, you can refine the granularity of labor rates or change the layout of your estimate tables to better fit your team's specific workflow and reporting needs.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions:
'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project’s Estimating tool.
Additional Information:
Changes made to these settings apply only to the current project.
When Dynamic Grouping is turned on, the split assemblies item appears in the list.
The Dynamic Grouping filters come from 3 main sources:
Filters available by default: Budget Code, Taxable, Tag , Cost Catalog Item, Cost Code and Cost Type.
Custom fields from the Cost Catalog tool.
Custom Segment Items from the Project level WBS Budget Code Segments tab that are in the Budget Code Structure.
Steps
Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
OR
Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.Click the Estimating tab.
Click the vertical ellipsis
icon on the Estimate.The following modes are available for project estimates. Click a toggle ON
to activate the mode, or OFF

Group Table Columns (Only available when Legacy View is toggled OFF)
'Use' Tax Instead of 'Sales Tax'.
Use "unit labor cost" pricing for labor.
Individual labor rates.
Budget code validation.
Round quantities using the "ea" measurement unit.
