Add a Worker (Android)
Background
For projects using Procore's Resource Tracking tools, you can add workers to the project's Site teams tools. The workers you add here are used in both the Site teams and Timesheets tool. When you add a worker to Procore, the worker's record is also added as a contact in the 'Contacts' tab for both the Project Direct and Company Directory.
Things to Consider
You can configure what items are created with the quick create
icon, see Configure Quick Create Settings.
Worker records are added to the Project and Company level Directory tools in the 'Contacts' tab.
Worker records can be edited in the project's Crews or Directory tools or in the Company Directory.
Worker records must be unique. If you have two or more workers with identical names, you can make any of the following updates to create a unique record:
Add a unique Employee ID for each worker. (Recommended)
Enter a middle initial or name after the first name.
Enter a unique name for each worker, such as a nickname.
Prerequisites
Add the Site teams tool to the project using the Procore web application. See Add and Remove Project Tools.
Steps
Open the Procore app on an Android mobile device and select a project.
Note: This loads the Tools screen for the project.Tap the quick create
icon and select Worker.
OR
Tap the Site teams tool and tap the create
icon. Then select Create Worker.Tap into the following fields to add the appropriate information:
Note: An asterisk (*) denotes a required field.*First Name
*Last Name
Employee ID
Tap Save.
