Download a Data Extract
Background
Downloading extracts enables you to save your project data for offline analysis, reporting, sharing, or archiving. The Data Extracts 2.0 tool exports the data and categorizes it into files and folders, all organized within a single folder on your computer. Once the extraction is complete, you can open the folder to view the project's data organized by tool.
Things to Consider
Additional Information:
You will receive an email notification once the extraction is finished and the extract is ready for download. The email includes a link to the Data Extracts page.
An extract is available for download only for 30 days.
You can only download extracts with 'Partially Completed' or 'Completed' statuses.
By default, the downloaded extract file is saved within the 'Downloads' folder on your computer. The extract file contains a folder structure for project tools and sub-folders containing items within those tools.
If an item does not have a grouping option (e.g., you select 'Location' as the grouping option for the Inspections tool, but an Inspection item has a blank location field), that item will be included in a folder labeled 'Ungrouped' within your extract.
Most items in Procore are downloaded as PDFs. Files such as documents and photos are downloaded as their original file type. For example, .xls, .jpeg.
