Do I need to use cost codes on a bid form?

Generally, line items on a bid form have a cost code for each item. However, there might be situations where you don't want or need to use cost codes.

No. If you don't want to use cost codes for bid line items, you can add general items with the 'Plain Text' field instead. See Create a Bid Form.

Instead of selecting a cost code, you'll be able to enter a subject in the Items colum.
