Upload Documents or Drawings to a Bid Board Project

The Documents tab is where drawings and other documents can be uploaded for a project that was originally created in the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Bid Board tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Estimating tool.

• Required User Permissions for the Portfolio Planning tool.

• When using the Estimating tool, uploading documents is only available for projects that originated in the Bid Board tool. See Add a Bid Board Project to the Portfolio Tool.

• The following documents can be uploaded: image files, PDFs, text files, and Excel files.

1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
   OR
   Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.

2. Click the Documents tab.
   OR
   Click the Takeoff tab.

3. Complete the steps for your preferred upload method:

   • Upload Documents

   • Upload Drawings

Upload Documents

1. Click Upload.

2. Select Upload Attachments.

3. Select the files you want to upload.
   Note: Click Upload More to attach additional files.

4. Click Attach.

Upload Drawings

1. Click Upload.

2. Select Upload Drawings.

3. Select the files you want to upload.
   Note: Click Upload More to attach additional files.

4. Click Attach.

5. After the upload is complete, select a drawing and click Go to Takeoff to set the Drawing Scale and begin the takeoff process. For more information, see Add Takeoffs.
