Delete Project Level Observation Types

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Additional Information:

    • Observation types that are currently in use cannot be deleted.

    • Observation types created at the Company Level are indicated by a key icon (2018 10 01 10 15 44); these types cannot be deleted.

Prerequisites

  1. Add Project Level Observation Types

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Observations tool.

  2. Click the Configure Settings Icons Settings Gear.

  3. Click Observation Types.

  4. Navigate to the observation type you want to delete.
    Note: Observation types created at the Company Level are indicated by a key icon Icon Key Lock; these types cannot be deleted.

  5. Click the type's red 'x' Icon Delete X to delete it from the project.
    Note: a gray 'x' indicates that the type is currently in use and cannot be deleted.
