Agent Builder is no longer available for new activations via Procore Explore as we transition to our next generation of Procore AI. We are currently developing powerful new agentic capabilities via our Datagrid integration—stay tuned for updates.
Background
Procore's Agent Builder helps users create AI Agents that automate routine tasks and gain predictive insights from project data. You can run the Agent directly from Assist, Procore's AI service. Agent Builder is currently in open beta and usage is free during this period. When it is generally available, some features may incur a cost. Learn who is eligible and how to enable Agent Builder via Procore Explore.

Prerequisites:
To self-enroll in Agent Builder, you must meet the prerequisites and understand the permissions, guidelines, and limits outlined in About Agent Builder.
The main prerequisite is that the account must have
Click Details to learn about the tool and enable it.
Click Join Beta.
Select who should have Agent Builder:
Apply to company account. This enables Agent Builder for all projects and all users within your company's account.
Apply to specific projects. This enables Agent Builder for selected projects. Only users with access to these projects are able to use Agent Builder.
Apply to specific users. This enables Agent Builder for selected users across all projects they have access to.
Click Save to enable Agent Builder for your selected scope.
B. Enable in Project Admin Tool Settings
Navigate to the Project level Admin tool.
Click on Tool Settings from the 'Project Settings' section on the right.
Find Agent Builder in the list and click the toggle to mark it as Active.
C. Grant Permissions
In bulk or individually, change user permissions to Agent Builder to 'Read Only' or higher.
In Bulk from the Project Permissions Template
Navigate to the company's Permissions tool.
Click the Project Permissions Templates tab.
Next to the permission template, click Actions and select 'Edit Template'.
Find Agent Builder in the list, and select 'Read Only' or higher. The levels listed below have no difference in functionality, but this will evolve over the course of the beta. Project Admin do have extra access in Agent Builder, but the Agent Builder Admin role listed below soon replaces that.

Click Save and select Save or Save & Return to Project Permissions.
Scroll down to the 'Project Permissions Templates' area and choose from these options:
Assign a Permission Template (that has Agent Builder permissions enabled): Select the correct permission template from the drop-down menu.
Manually Update Project Permissions: Select the permission level you would like the user to have for the Agent Builder tool, and make sure 'Do Not Apply a Template' is selected in the drop-down menu above.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save or Save & Send Notification.
