Manually Connect Equipment to Telematics

Use the Equipment tool to create, import, or connect equipment. You can manually enter equipment or import your records. To get real-time data, connect your equipment record to your vendor's telematics system, even after manual entry or import.

You must configure your telematics integration:

• Configure Equipment Telematics Connection for Caterpillar

• Configure Equipment Telematics Connection for John Deere

• Configure Equipment Telematics Connection for Samsara

• Configure Equipment Telematics Connection for United Rentals

1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.

2. Hover over the equipment record and click the edit icon.

3. In the 'Information' tab, locate the 'Telematics Provider Information' section.

4. Select the telematics provider from the drop-down menu.

5. Enter your telematics provider ID.

6. Click Save.

7. Click the Telematics tab.

8. Click Add Data.

9. Select an Attribute, Value, and Unit from the respective drop down menus to populate the relevant data.

10. Click Save.
