What is the Monthly Sandbox Environment?
Background
Procore has four environments:
Production.
Your company's live, active Procore account where work is done.
Monthly Sandbox.
A copy of your company's entire Production account, refreshed automatically each month. Used to test integrations or new features against a recent snapshot of your real data.
On-Demand Sandbox.
A copy of your company's data that you create and manage on your own schedule, with no automatic refresh. Used to test integrations without waiting for a monthly cycle.
Developer Sandbox.
A separate environment used by third-party developers to build and test integrations before installing them in a customer's account. This sandbox isn't part of your company's Procore account and isn't something a Company Admin enables.

Any developer can use a Developer Sandbox, but only Procore customers can enable On-Demand or Monthly Sandboxes. If you’re a Procore customer building your own integration, use both — a Developer Sandbox to build, and your company’s On-Demand or Monthly Sandbox to test on real data.
