Edit an Equipment Record in the Company Equipment Tool

Background

Procore's Equipment tool ensures all machines are optimally used and effectively managed from arrival to departure. The company's Equipment tool is a registry of your company's owned or rented equipment for your job sites. When equipment is assigned to projects, it is added to the Project's Equipment tool where it can be used in Inspections, Timesheets, Daily Log, T&M Tickets, and your Budget.

Update a Single Piece of Equipment

  1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.

    Tip icon Tip

    You can edit the 'Status' and 'Onsite' columns inline, by clicking the field and making your selection.

  2. Hover over the equipment record and click the edit icon-edit2.png icon.

  3. Update the equipment information.

  4. Click Save.

Bulk Update Equipment

  1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.

  2. Mark the checkbox for the relevant equipment.

  3. Take any of the following steps

    • Add to Projects

      1. Click Add to Projects.

      2. Mark the checkbox for each project, then click Add.

    • Update Status

      1. Click Status and select the relevant status.

    • Update Onsite Status

      1. Click Add to Projects.

      2. Mark the checkbox for each project.

      3. Move the 'Onsite' toggle icon-toggle-on.png ON for each project.

      4. Click Add.
