Configure the Default Privacy Settings for New Commitments
Background
By default, Procore marks new commitments as 'Private,' making them visible only to users with 'Admin' permissions on the Commitments tool. While most users keep this setting, users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Commitments tool can remove the default setting, making commitments visible to all project users with 'Read-Only' level permissions. If an Admin chooses to disable the setting, end users can still change the individual commitment's setting to private.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions:
'Admin' level permission on the project's Commitments tool.
Additional Information:
Setting changes apply only to new commitments on the project, not existing ones.
