Connect Analytics Reports for Non-US Data Zones

Background

This workflow applies to your account if you are hosted on a non-US data zone. You can check this by looking at the web address you use to log into Procore:

Steps

Power BI Desktop

  1. Open the Analytics report in Power BI Desktop.

  2. In the Home ribbon, click Transform data and select Edit parameters.

  3. Enter the Delta Share URL, and click OK.

  4. In the Home ribbon, click Transform data and select Data source settings.

  5. Click Edit Permissions.

  6. Under the Credentials section, click Edit.

  7. Enter the Bearer Token.

  8. Click Save > OK > Close.

  9. Click Refresh on the Home ribbon.

Power BI Service

  1. Navigate to the Power BI service.

  2. Upload your Analytics report to your desired workspace:

    1. Navigate to the workspace.

    2. Click Import.

    3. Select Report, Paginated Report, or Workbook.

    4. Select From this computer.

  3. Go to the settings of the semantic model for the report you just uploaded.

  4. Navigate to the Parameters section in the settings.

  5. Enter the Delta Share URL, and click Apply.

  6. In the Data source credentials section, click Edit Credentials.

  7. Enter your bearer token in the Account Key field.

  8. Click Sign In.

  9. Navigate back to the workspace. You can now manually refresh the report or wait until your next scheduled refresh, if one is configured.
