Upload Attachments to Materials

When managing materials, you can upload attachments such as photos of received goods, or documents, such as packing slips, to different material documents in Procore. You can also upload photos to the material parts themselves to show an image of the part.
When uploading a photo to a part (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF), the most recent photo is displayed as the part image.
The following file types are supported as attachments:
jpg, jpeg, jpe, png, tif, jfif, gif, heif, snag, snagx, pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, xlsb, xlsm, txt, mht, html, csv, rtf, zip, rar, 7z, webp, mp4, mp3, avi, wmv, mov, flv, swf, mpg, mpeg, eml, msg, vdx, vsdx, dwg, dxf, cad
You can upload images and documents to the following materials assets:
Shipments, Receipts, Transfers, UOSD/Defects, and Issuing Documents
Parts, from Line Items
Parts, from the Details Page
Navigate to the project's Materials tool.
Click the Control tab.
Click the Shipments, Receipts, UOSD/Defects, Transfers or Issuing sub tab.
Click the document number.
In the document header, click the upload
icon.

Add the file.
Click Add Files and select the file from your computer.
Drag and drop one or more files into the 'Drag and Drop' box.
Enter a name.
Optional: Enter a description.
Click Upload.
Navigate to the project's Materials tool.
Click the Control tab.
Click the Shipments, Receipts, or UOSDs/Defects sub tab.
Click the document number.
Under 'Document Line Items', click the caret icon for the line item and select Photos/Docs.

Add the file.
Click Add Files and select the file from your computer.
Drag and drop one or more files into the 'Drag and Drop' box.
Enter a name.
Optional: Enter a description.
Click Upload.
You can view the attachment when you View Materials Part Details.
Navigate to the project's Materials tool.
Click the Control tab.
Click the Inventory sub tab.
Optional: Search Materials Inventory
Click the name of the material.
Click Upload.
In the material part header, click the upload
icon.
Hover over the main part image and click the upload
icon.
Add the file.
Click Add Files and select the file from your computer.
Drag and drop one or more files into the 'Drag and Drop' box.
Enter a name.
Optional: Enter a description.
Click Upload.
