View and Filter the Change History of the Budget

Background

You can view a detailed record of every change made to a project's budget. This history shows what was changed, who made the change, and when it occurred. This helps you track updates and maintain a complete audit trail for the budget.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Budget tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • Items in the change history cannot be deleted.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Budget tool.

  2. Click the Change History tab.
    This opens the Change History page.

  3. (Optional) Choose one of these options to apply filters to the data table:

    • Select an item from the Sub Job, Cost Code, or Cost Type drop-down list above the table.
      OR

    • Click Filters. Then choose the filters to apply from the lists in the side panel.
