The Conversations tool is compatible with iOS version 2023.0327 or later. Please update to the latest version to effectively use the Conversations tool.

This is an optional feature that may not be available in the Procore account you are working in. Company Admins can enable or disable the feature in the Company level Admin tool, and they can also choose to enable it for internal employees only. See Configure Access and Settings for the Conversations Tool.
Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
Tap the project's Conversations tool.
Tap Direct Messages. Note: If you want to send a direct message to an existing conversation, tap the name of the conversation and skip to step 7 below.
Tap the create 
icon and select Create Direct Message.
Tap the name of each individual you want to send the direct message to.
Tap Next. If you have an existing conversation with the selected individuals, all previous messages are shown.
Tap into the text box and enter your message.
If you want to mention an individual to notify them of a conversation, tap the @ symbol on your keyboard when writing a message and select their name. See Mention a User in a Conversation (iOS).
If you want to add attachments or link items to your message, tap the plus 
icon and select from the following options:
Take Photo: Allows you to take one or more photos to add to the message.
Choose from Library: Allows you to choose photos from your device.
Files from Device: Allows you to choose files from your device.
Procore Items: Allows you to add files or link to items from the project.
When you are ready to send the message, tap the send 
icon.
The message is automatically added to the conversation.

Tap the item that you want to send a message about.
Tap Start a Conversation.
