Deactivate a Company in the Project Directory

Things to Consider

Required User Permissions
Inactive companies no longer appears as selections in Procore's drop-down menus and lists.
Inactive companies are archived in the Directory tool and can be reactivate at any time.
If your company has enabled the Procore + ERP Integration:
- You might need to consolidate duplicate entries since only one Company level entry can be tied to an ERP vendor. In such cases, you may need to reassign users to the chosen company entry and inactivate the other duplicate company entries.

Users cannot be associated with a company record when it's deactivated. If there are users, you must take one of the following actions:
- Remove users from the company record or associate them with a different company. See Edit a User Account.
- Deactivate users in the Company Directory.

Navigate to the Project level Directory tool.
Locate the company in the list, then click Edit.
OR
Click the company's name.
Click Deactivate Company.
