Why Do I Receive Action-Oriented Emails for Daily Logs?

All emails related to the Daily Log tool follow a new, consistent design system that notifies you on the following events:
When a daily log entry is rejected, you will receive an email notification containing - the first and last name of the person who rejected the entry, the type of daily log, and the specific date and time of the entry. The email also includes a View in Procore option, allowing you to jump directly to the relevant area in Procore.
When a daily log is created or completed and distributed, you will receive an email notification. This streamlined email indicates the first and last name of the person who shared the log entry and the specific date and time of the entry. The email also allows you to use the following options:
View in Procore: Use this option to quickly view the daily log shared with you.
Download PDF: Use this option to download the daily log entry (in PDF format) to your device.
When you export a daily log using any Procore templates, you will receive an email notification. The email indicates your first and last name, date and time of export, and the the link to download the export file to your device. You can also use the View in Daily Log option to view the log in the Daily Log tool.
When a delay log is recorded for any general delay event on a specific day (for example, delay in material delivery), you will receive an email notification. The email includes the following details- the first and last name of the person who recorded the delay entry, type of delay observed at the jobsite, and date and time of the delay observed. You can click the View in Procore option to view the complete delay log details in Procore.
When a specific weather delay is recorded (for example, heavy rainfall), you will receive an email notification. The email contains he following details- the first and last name of the person who recorded the weather delay entry and date and time of the delay observed at the jobsite. You can use the View in Procore option to quickly view the details of entry.
When a daily log is forwarded with a custom message, you will receive an email notification. This customized email indicates the first and last name of the person who shared the daily log, name of the log entry, authored custom message, any attachments, recipient details, and the link to quickly access the daily log. The email also allows you to use the following options:
View in Procore: Use this option to quickly view and follow up.
Download [Filetype]: Use this option to download the daily log (in desired file format) to your device.
The email design helps project teams to quickly understand updates, take clear action, and jump directly into the relevant area of Procore to follow up or continue their work. By improving response times, teams can make faster, smarter decisions to keep projects on schedule. The updated email layouts are also easier to scan and interact with on any device, significantly enhancing readability and usability.
