Considerations

Project-Specific Configurations allow you to meet the requirements of an individual project. By configuring project-level settings, you can customize how assets are managed without affecting the shared company-level configuration. This helps ensure each project uses the settings it needs while maintaining consistent company-level standards across projects.

  • Required User Permissions

  • Configure Project-Specific Naming Convention

    • Project-specific naming conventions override the company-level naming convention for assets in that project.

  • Override an Asset Type ID for a Project

    • You can override a company-level asset type ID for an individual project.

    • If an asset type ID is overridden multiple times, removing the override restores the company-level asset type ID, not a previously overridden value.

  • Show and Hide Asset Types and Subtypes for a Project

    • You can show or hide multiple asset types and subtypes for a project at the same time.

    • There is no limit to the number of asset types or subtypes that you can show or hide.
