Add a Multi-Tiered Location to an Item

Background

If your Project Administrator has enabled this feature, you can create new locations while editing or creating an item. These additions are automatically saved to your project’s location list, allowing you to build multi-tiered locations without leaving your current page.

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate to one of the supported tools.

  2. Click the Edit button next to the item needing a multi-tiered location, or create a new item in the tool.

  3. Select the drop-down menu next to 'Location.'

  4. Click the carets > next to the existing locations to navigate to the parent of the new location.
    Note: If the new location is a first tier parent location, skip this step.

  5. Click Add New Location.

  6. Enter the location name.

  7. Click Add.
