Generate a Security Token

To start connecting and analyzing your Procore data, generate your data access credentials using a security token (Delta Share). The security token is a string of digits you will enter in your applicable data connector to access Procore data.

  • Generated tokens grant access to data for all companies linked to your Procore account.

  • The maximum token expiration period is 365 days.

  • It may take up to 24 hours for initial data to become visible in your data connector. Do not regenerate tokens during this processing time, as doing so may cause issues with your token.

1. Navigate to the Company level Analytics tool.

2. Locate the Connect Your Data section.

3. In the Security Token card, click Begin Setup.

4. In the Generate Your Security Token modal, configure your preferred token expiration timeline (maximum duration is 365 days):

   • Fixed Duration. Select the radio button to enter the number of days in the Days Until Expiration text box, or select a preset button (15 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, or 120 days).

   • Specific Date. Select the radio button and click the calendar icon under Expiration Date to choose your target date.

5. Click Generate Token.

6. In the Save Your Token Details modal, click the copy icon to copy your security token.
   

   Important

   Procore does not store this token. It will only be displayed once. Store it in a secure location immediately.

7. Mark the I have saved my token and understand it cannot be recovered after I close this window checkbox.

8. Click Done.

   Once generated, your connection details will be displayed in the Connect Your Data section of the Data Connectors tab. This includes the token status, remaining days, expiration date, share name, delta sharing server URL, and share credential version.
