Invite Bidders

 Note

The content below describes functionality that is part of the new Bid Management Enhanced Experience. See About Bid Management Enhanced Experience.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions on the project's Bidding tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • When you add a Company as a Bidder, every user on that companies user list will have access to view the bid. See Add a User to a Company in the Company Directory.

    • If a non-disclosure agreement is required, an email will be sent with a link to sign the NDA. Once signed, bid recipients will automatically receive the bid package and an invitation to bid.

 Tip

Prerequisites

  • Assign a bid recipient to each company before sending invitations. If a company lacks a designated recipient, they will not receive an invitation to bid email. See Set Bidder Information for a Company in the Company Directory.

    • If no recipient is assigned, the bid will only be visible to the bidding company's users via the Planroom or Bid Board tools.
