Why aren't my custom fields showing up when I create an asset?

Creating a Fieldset with custom fields alone is not enough — you must assign the Fieldset to the relevant Asset Type. Once the Fieldset is assigned to an Asset Type, those custom fields will appear when users create or edit assets of that type.
