Assign Assets to Projects from the Company Assets Tool

Company level assets can be assigned to projects so they can be managed, tracked, and used within project workflows. Assets can be assigned individually or in bulk.

• Required User Permissions

• You can bulk assign up to 500 assets to a project.

• Related items, such as inspections and submittals, are retained when assets move between projects.

• When a sub asset is moved to a project, the parent also added to the same project to keep the hierarchy intact.

• When a parent asset is moved to a project, you can select to move sub assets as well.

Assign Inline

1. Navigate to the company's Assets tool.

2. Locate the asset you want to assign.

3. Under the 'Projects' column, click the project field for that asset.

4. Select a project.

5. Optional: Add a note.

6. Click Assign or Move to assign the asset to the project.

Bulk Assign

1. Navigate to the company's Assets tool.

2. Mark the checkbox for each asset you want to assign.

3. Click Assign to Project.

4. Select the project from the project.

5. Optional: Add a note.

6. Click Assign to assign the assets to projects.
