The Document Management tool is available to accounts in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.
The Android device Viewer provides a centralized way to manage document-related items in the field. By pinning items, immediate spatial context is provided for project issues, ensuring that markups and pins are displayed with item-specific icons and status-driven colors.
Permissions: Must have the ability to add markups to Document Management workflows to utilize grouping features for more organized and efficient reviews.
Workflow Independence: These pins are managed separately from those created within a formal Review Workflow. For more information, see Comment Register.
Viewing Details: For Coordination Issues, tap the chevron 
on the item card to view details without leaving the drawing.
Supported Item Types: You can pin and link existing Coordination Issues, Observations, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items on your mobile device.
Creation Restrictions: Creating brand-new items directly from the drawing viewer toolbar is only available for Coordination Issues and Observations. For RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items, you must select from existing items already created in the project.
Details Panel View: While Observations do not currently support a details panel view within the drawing viewer, the details panel is fully supported for Coordination Issues, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items.
To pin an item to a document on an Android device, perform the following steps:
Open the Procore app on an Android device.
Navigate to the Document Management tool and tap to open a drawing.
Tap the Connected Items 
in the viewer's navigation menu.
Link an Existing Item to the Drawing:
Select Coordination Issues, Observations, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, or Punch/Snag items from the list.
Tap the + Pin button on the specific item card.
Note: If pinning an Inspection that is already pinned elsewhere, you will be prompted to replace the existing pin or add a second one.
Tap the document to anchor the pin.
(Optional) Select the pin and create a markup to associate visual feedback with the item.
Create a New Item and Pin Location:
Tap the plus + icon at the top of the Connected Items panel.
Note: Creating a brand-new item from this panel is only supported for Coordination Issues and Observations.
Tap the document where the new issue or observation is located.
Enter the necessary information in the form and tap Create.
