Create a New Estimate Group

Background

Creating groups allows you to categorize and structure your estimate data. By naming these groups, you can improve the clarity of your project's financial breakdown and more easily manage specific sections of your estimate.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project’s Estimating tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • Changes save automatically once you enter the new name.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
    OR
    Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.

  2. Click the Estimating tab.

  3. Click Create New Group.

  4. Click into the title field and enter a new name for the group.
