Create a Meeting (iOS)
Background
You can create a new meeting and detailed agendas for your project meetings. The first step in the process is to create the meeting. This process lets you set the date, time, location, and attendees.
Once the meeting is created, you can move on to create categories, which are used to group agenda items into subjects. Then, you can add the individual agenda items to your categories. In addition, you can create a follow-up meeting.
Note: You can also create a new meeting from templates in Procore mobile apps. See Create a Meeting from Templates (iOS).
Things to Consider
The meeting must be in agenda mode. This is the default setting when you create a new meeting. To learn how to convert a meeting to minutes mode, see Convert a Meeting to Minutes Mode.
You can configure what items are created with the quick create
icon, see Configure Quick Create Settings.This action can be performed offline. Tasks performed offline sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished.
Steps
Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
Note: This loads the Tools screen for the project.Do one of the following:
Tap the quick create
icon and select Meeting.Tap the Meetings tool and tap the create
icon.
Tap into the following fields to enter the appropriate information:
Meeting name: Type a name or subject for a new meeting.
Date: Use the calendar icon to select a date for the meeting:Start Time: Select a start time for the meeting.
End Time: Select an end time for the meeting.
Attendees: Select each relevant person from the list. The users in this list are populated from the project Directory.
Note: Users with 'Admin' level permissions can add any user to the attendee list.
Users with 'Standard' level permissions can only add attendees with 'Admin' level permissions.Location: Enter the meeting's location
Private: Mark this checkbox if you want to restrict viewing of this meeting item in the Meetings log to invitees of the meeting and users with 'Admin' level permissions to the Meetings tool.
Overview: Enter a meeting overview.
Add Attachments: Add any relevant files or photos.
Tap Save.
The new meeting is created.To create a follow-up meeting (without switching to the web), do the following:
Tap the Follow-up Meeting option in the new meeting screen.
Edit the meeting details.
You can edit the Meeting Title, Meeting Date, and Due Dates in the new follow-up meeting.Tap Save.
Use the following options in the new meeting screen:
Distribute Agenda: Tap the
icon (located next to Edit) to see this option. Use this option to distribute the meeting agenda. Convert to minutes: Use this option to convert the meeting to minutes. When you choose this option, you are allowed to use the Follow-up Meeting option.
Distribute Minutes: This option is available in the follow-up meeting screen. Tap the
icon (located next to Edit) to see this option. Use this option to distribute the meeting minutes. Revert to Agenda: This option is available in the new meetings screen. Tap the
icon (located next to Edit) to see this option. Use this option to move the meeting back from minutes mode to agenda mode.
