About Safety Hub (Project)

Fostering a strong safety culture on the jobsite requires constant awareness and quick execution of safety workflows. The project level Safety Hub serves as a central location where Superintendents and Safety Managers can find a holistic view of project health.

The hub prioritizes relevant information through interactive cards, allowing you to move quickly from high-level trends to specific actions. This visibility helps you identify task-specific risks and ensures that your safety strategy—from inspections to incident tracking—is executed efficiently.

Features

• Access and manage project-specific safety manuals and documentation.

• Click on individual bars or segments within charts to open a sidebar containing the specific records that make up that data point.

• Navigate directly to a specific Observation, Incident, or Inspection from the Safety Hub sidebar to take immediate action.

• View a breakdown of project observations categorized by their specific type (e.g., Hazard, Near Miss).

• Monitor inspection progress based on the person responsible for completion.

• Track incident trends throughout the project lifecycle rather than just a total count.

• This feature is currently in open beta and is available to Procore customers by opting into the Procore Safety Hub Beta through Procore Explore.

• Your company must be enrolled in the Project Overview and Procore Home Betas.

• You must complete the Quality and Safety navigation split for Inspections and Observations to view those cards correctly.

Required Permissions:

• 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Project Overview tool.

• 'Admin' level permissions on the Incidents, Inspections, and Observations tools.

1. Navigate to the Project Overview.

2. Click the Safety Hub tab.

3. View the available project safety cards:

   • Project Safety Documentation: Access and manage project-specific safety manuals and SOPs.

   • Observations by Type: View a breakdown of observations categorized by type (e.g., Near Miss or Hazard).

   • Inspections by Assignee: Monitor inspection progress based on the person responsible for the items.

   • Incidents Over Time: Track trends in reported incidents throughout the project's duration.

4. To view a summary of chart data:

   • Hover your mouse over a bar or segment within a chart.

   • Note: A summary preview appears and displays a visual snapshot of the records associated with that data point.

5. To view the full list of records:

   • Click a bar or segment within a chart.

   • Note: A sidebar appears and displays the individual records for that metric.

6. To access specific details, do one of the following:

   • Click an individual item in the sidebar to view that specific record.

   • Click View All to navigate to a filtered list in the corresponding tool (e.g., the Observations tool).

7. Click the ellipsis icon to switch to a line chart view.
