Add Assets to Projects from the Project Assets Tool

Company Administrators can enable the Assets beta in Procore Explore.

Background

You can pull assets directly from the company-wide inventory and assign them to your project to manage shared corporate assets or track items at the project level.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Users are required to have Company Level permission to create assets to perform this action at the project level.

  • Attachments or related items are added to an asset at the company level, they will remain associated with the asset when it is added to a project.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Assets tool at the Project level.

  2. Click on the Create and s elect Add from Company Register from the shortcut menu.

  3. Select the assets you want to bring into the project and click Add.

  4. Optional: Enter a note for context.

  5. Click Add again to add the asset to your project register.
