The Document Management tool is available to accounts in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. It is not yet available for Procore accounts in the United States. For more information, please reach out to your Procore point of contact.
Pinning items on iOS device creates a visual link between project items and document locations within the Viewer. This ensures that anyone viewing the drawing on a mobile device can see related issues and associated markups with full spatial context, matching the web experience.
Permissions: Must have the ability to add markups to Document Management workflows to utilize grouping features for more organized and efficient reviews.
Syncing: Items pinned on iOS device are instantly visible to others on the Android app and Procore Web.
Limitations: Observations pinned on iOS device do not currently support the Details Panel view within the document viewer.
Supported Item Types: You can pin and link existing Coordination Issues, Observations, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items on your mobile device.
Creation Restrictions: Creating brand-new items directly from the drawing viewer toolbar is only available for Coordination Issues and Observations. For RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items, you must select from existing items already created in the project.
Details Panel View: While Observations do not currently support a details panel view within the drawing viewer, the details panel is fully supported for Coordination Issues, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, and Punch/Snag items.
To pin items to a document on an iOS device, perform the following steps:
Open the Procore app on your iOS device.
Tap the Document Management tool and tap a document to open it.
Tap the Connected Items 
on the side rail to open the panel.
Link an Existing Item:
Select Coordination Issues, Observations, RFIs, Inspections, Inspection Items, or Punch/Snag items from the list.
Tap the + Pin button on the specific item card.
Note: If pinning an Inspection that is already pinned elsewhere, you will be prompted to replace the existing pin or add a second one.
Tap the location on the document where the pin should be placed.
(Optional) Add a markup while the item is active to link the drawing to that specific pin.
Create and Pin a New Item:
Within the Connected Items panel, tap the plus + icon.
Note: Creating a brand-new item from this panel is only supported for Coordination Issues and Observations.
Tap the document to set the pin location.
Complete the required fields in the creation form and tap Save.
