Confirm Estimate Summary Items

Background

The summary section provides a comprehensive overview of your estimate's financial data. By reviewing these totals, you can ensure that global labor costs, profit margins, and tax adjustments are accurately reflected before finalizing the project's financial breakdown.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • ‘Standard’ or ‘Admin’ level permissions on the project’s Estimating tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • The Global Labor Cost applies to all items in the estimate unless you manually adjust individual line items.

    • Changes to editable percentages will automatically update the total values in the summary.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
    OR
    Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.

  2. Click the Estimating tab.

  3. In the 'Summary' section, click the caret Icon Expand Materials Esticom icon to expand the section.

  4. Review the following summary categories:

    • Labor and Materials

    • Profit

    • Additional Adjustments

    • Taxes

    • 'Other' adjustments

  5. Optional: Enter new values into the editable percentage fields to adjust the totals as needed.
