With the Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning products in Procore, you can analyze data and put your information to work. Track asset performance, measure project costs, compare bids, and aggregate performance insights across your entire portfolio. Gain an at-a-glance view of each asset in addition to individual cost items. Give your teams the tools they need to take control of every step of your construction projects.
User account information and notification settings can be managed in the Account Settings page of Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning, while the Company Settings page is where Company Admin users can create approval workflow templates, Cost Tracker column configurations, and custom views for Project Cost Reporting.
The Self-Serve Approval Workflows feature in Portfolio Financials allows Company Admins to create custom approval workflows for reviewing or approving items. These workflows can be simple or complex, and can be used for items in Portfolio Financials such as bids, contracts, budgets, change orders, and invoices.
The Bid Room is a shared portal between an owner and bidders that is created by an owner when competitive pricing is wanted for a job. The Bid Room can be set up after a cost item is created in the Cost Tracker section of the Project Page. Within the Bid Room, owners can send out and manage the entire RFP process, including bid forms, RFIs, and bid leveling.
The Contract Room is a shared portal where vendors can submit change orders and invoices directly to the project team for approval throughout the duration of the project. Upon approval, change orders and invoices automatically update on the project's Cost Tracker for a streamlined cost tracking process.
Cost Allocations is an add-on feature that allows you to allocate budgets, holds, contracts, schedule items, and change orders to sub-projects called components using percentage-based allocation rules.
The Cost Tracker in Portfolio Financials allows you to track committed and forecasted costs against your budget over the course of a project. The Budget tab within the Cost Tracker is where you can build project budgets with variances and anticipated costs. You can see your project financials update in real time on your project's Cost Tracker as you start committing costs and managing invoices and change orders.
The Dashboard, which is the home page of Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning in Procore, is a central location that provides an overview of where all of your projects stand from a budget and schedule perspective. This page acts as a live spreadsheet of all projects, helping you track project progress over the course of the year and beyond.
The Documents section of the Project Page in Portfolio Financials is where important documents related to the project can be stored and accessed.
The Milestones section in Portfolio Financials allows you to keep track of high-level milestones for the project, such as the Project Start and Project End dates. All milestones for the project show on a timeline on the Project Page so that you can see dates for milestones in relation to one another.
A database of team members, collaborators, and vendors can be maintained on the Our Team and Vendors pages in Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning.
The Planning tool makes it easy to compare costs per square foot across any number of past projects at the overall project level, all the way down to a specific line item on the Schedule of Values. The consistency of project cost information allows for greater insight when it comes to planning for future projects.
The Project Page in Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning serves as a dashboard for keeping track of all project information in one place, and provides insight into where a given project stands from a cost and schedule perspective.
The Team section of the Project Page in Portfolio Financials is where you can invite internal team members to the Project Team and manage Bid Room access.
The Reporting tool in Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning is a hub for configuring various types of custom and default reports. All data points are updated automatically based on activity within the project, such as bids being awarded and invoices being approved. The consistency of project cost information allows for greater insight when it comes to planning for future projects.
