Project List Fails to Load in the Project Picker

Problem Description

Users who have successfully installed and signed into the Procore for Outlook plugin may encounter an issue where the company picker works, but the project picker loads indefinitely without populating the list of projects. This generally points to a configuration setting within the Procore Web Application rather than a network block.

Root Cause

This issue typically occurs if the Procore for Outlook App has been uninstalled or was not initialized at the company level within the Procore platform.

Solution

To resolve this, manually verify the installation for each affected company using these steps:

  • Verify Company Installation:

    1. Log in to the Procore Web Application.

    2. Select the specific Company where the project list is missing.

    3. Navigate to Company Tools > Admin > App Management.

    4. Locate Procore for Outlook. If it is missing or appears under 'Uninstalled Apps,' proceed to the next step.

  • Reinstall the App:

    1. Select Install App > Install App from Marketplace.

    2. Complete the installation for Procore for Outlook.

  • Refresh the Add-in:

    1. After installation, you must Sign Out of the Outlook Add-in.

    2. Sign In again to refresh the data and sync the project list.

Note

This installation is company-scoped. If you manage multiple companies, these steps must be repeated for each company to ensure all project lists are visible.
