Background
In Procore, the term granular permissions refers to task-based privileges that can be granted to users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on certain tools through the users' assigned In Procore, a Permissions Template is a set of_role-based permissions_ that can be assigned to one or more Procore users. The permission settings in a template define what actions users can perform and what information they can view in each Procore tool

View Workflow Templates as an Assignee | Grants users the privilege to view the workflow template assigned to a correspondence item. |
View Complete Workflow History | Grants users the privilege of viewing a workflow's entire response history when they are participants in the correspondence workflow. |
View Previous Step History Only | Grants users the privilege of viewing a correspondence workflow's previous step when they are participants in the workflow. |
Can Act as a Workflow Manager | Grants users the privilege of acting as a workflow manager for the correspondence type. See (Beta) What are the different roles within Custom Workflows? |
Can Start Workflows | Grants users the privilege of restarting a workflow. See Start a Custom Workflow. Note: Workflows are started automatically when a correspondence item is created. This granular permission allows a user to restart a workflow. |
Configure Workflow Templates | This task is restricted to users with Admin level permissions. |
