Deleting a custom column permanently removes it from your company's budget column list. If the column is currently included in any budget or forecasting views, it will automatically be removed from those views.
If you only want to hide a column from a specific budget or forecasting view without permanently deleting it from the budget column list, see Enable or Disable Columns in a Budget or Forecasting View.
Required User Permissions:
'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool.
Prerequisites:
If a custom column is used inside a calculated column formula, you must remove it from that calculation before it can be deleted.
Additional Information:
Columns with a lock icon are standard columns and cannot be deleted.
Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.
Under 'Tool Settings', click Budget.
Select the Columns tab.
In the Columns list, click the custom column that you want to delete.
Click the trash bin 
icon.
In the confirmation modal, click Delete.
