Create or Link Coordination Issues on a Drawing

When you create a coordination issue on a drawing in Procore, the system automatically adds a snapshot and a link to that spot. This link gives your project team the context they need to learn about and fix the issue.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Additional Information:

    • In order to link a coordination issue to a drawing, the Coordination Issues tool must be enabled for the company's account and active on the project. See Add and Remove Project Tools.
Note: The Coordination Issues tool is part of Procore's Design Coordination product. Please reach out to your Procore point of contact for additional information.

    • After publishing a new coordination issue markup on a drawing, a snapshot of the area of the drawing is added to the coordination issue, and the drawing is added to the 'Links' section of the coordination issue. This allows users to easily reference the original drawing when viewing the coordination issue from the Coordination Issues tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool.

  2. Find the drawing to markup. If your team is using Drawing Areas, you may need to open the area first.

  3. Click the Drawing No. link to open it.

  4. In the top navigation, click the Markup icon. This opens the markup toolbar.

  5. Continue as follows:

To pin coordination issues to a drawing:

  1. Click Pins drawings-toolbar-pin.png in the markup toolbar.

        • Yellow: Ready for Review.

        • Red: Elevated to an RFI.

        • Gray: Closed.
