Recent Changes
Version 1.4.1 (May 11, 2026)
Added
Multi-Viewpoint Coordination Issues from Clashes: Users can now attach up to three viewpoints (3D, Isolate, and Orient) to a single Coordination Issue created from a Navisworks clash. This includes a new "Viewpoints" section for selecting primary views and managing snapshots, redlines, and clipping data.
Enhanced View Management in Publish Revision Panel: Added the ability to add and edit views directly within the Publish Revision panel, eliminating the need to use "Edit model info" as a workaround.
Appended File Status Indicators: Files already appended to an NWF are now pre-checked and disabled in the Append window to prevent accidental duplicates.
Troubleshooting Metadata: Added version identification for internal services (UI-service and Shell) to the User Profile button to streamline technical support.
Improved
Contextual Empty-State Messaging: Updated the Coordination Issues and Publish panels to provide accurate guidance based on whether a model is open, unsaved, or unassociated.
Direct Access to Settings: Added an "Open Settings" button to the unassociated-model state in the Coordination Issues panel for easier project association.
Actionable Project Access Errors: Replaced vague error messages with specific instructions on how to resolve project access conflicts or re-associate models.
Accelerated Export Performance: Optimized the Coordination Issues fetch process during exports by implementing concurrent page requests, significantly reducing wait times for large projects.
Clash Manager Shortcut Refinement: Restored functionality to several view-opening shortcuts and removed obsolete entries from the shortcut list.
VDC Install Prompt Management: Moved the VDC plugin installation prompt behind a feature flag to reduce workflow interruptions while maintaining the option for specific environments.
User Profile Button Enhancement: Added version markers to the UI service to support troubleshooting customer issues faster.
