Enable a Project Level Workflow Template

Objective

Create, edit, and manage workflows directly within a project, without requiring company-level permissions.

Build workflows from scratch, apply company templates, or tailor existing workflows at the project level.

Background

Provides project teams the autonomy to create and customize workflows directly within their project environment, without relying on company-level permissions.

To create or edit custom workflow templates for items in a project-level tool, use these steps. Procore saves these templates at the project level, making them distinct from your company-level workflow templates.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • To view, create, or edit a project-level workflow, you must have 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Workflows tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • Project-level workflows are only available in Procore Project tools. (Correspondence, coming soon. Procore Pay not available as this is a company-level tool.)

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Company level Workflows tool.

  2. Click the Configure Settings Icons Settings Gear icon.

  3. Under Feature Enablement, select a supported tool from the Tool list.

     Remarque

A success banner appears when the features are enabled for the project tool.
