View Purchase Orders and Subcontracts (Android)

Procore has modernized the interface for Commitments (Purchase Orders and Subcontracts) on the mobile application. This update provides a more organized, scannable layout and introduces the highly requested ability to view and respond to workflows directly from your mobile device.

• Required User Permissions:

  • To view purchase orders or subcontracts NOT marked Private, 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Commitments tool.

  • To view purchase orders or subcontracts marked Private:

    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Commitments tool.
      OR

    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Commitments tool and you must be a member of the 'Private' list on the commitment.
      OR

    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the project's Commitments tool with the 'View Private Work Order Contract' granular permission and/or 'View Private Purchase Order Contract' granular permission enabled on the permission template. This permission allows you to view the Change Orders tab on the subcontract.

• Additional Information:

  • • The new view and workflow now applies to both Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.

    • Details like descriptions, inclusions, and exclusions can be expanded or collapsed to keep the view clean.

    • Schedule of Values and Change Orders are now organized into independent subtabs, reducing the need for excessive scrolling.

    • Attachments are displayed at the top of the commitment for quick access.

    • This item can be viewed or edited offline if it was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device. Tasks performed in offline mode sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished.

• The Procore app on your Android device. For more information, see Procore Android Application requirement.

• The Commitments tool must be enabled on your Procore project.

• ‘Standard' or 'Admin' permissions for the Commitments tool.

• Create a Purchase Order or Create a Subcontract

1. Navigate to the Commitments tool using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

2. Use the Purchase Orders or Subcontracts tabs to locate your commitment.

3. Tap the commitment that you want to view.

4. Use the subtabs to navigate between the following information:

   • General: View description, inclusions, and exclusions.

   • Schedule of Values: View a comprehensive list of line items.

   • Change Orders: View surfaced commitment change orders
