Throughout the course of construction, you can link construction or operational activities associated with the asset. For example, an air handling unit may have installation inspections, commissioning inspections, quality observations, or punch items raised against it.
By linking these items to the asset, they become part of the asset's history and comprehensive digital record.
Incidents - Link incidents involving the asset, along with witnesses and resolutions.
Inspections - Records of pre-install, installation, or commissioning inspections are linked to ensure quality and confirm processes were followed.
Observations - Link observations and their responses.
Punch List - Link punch items, including their responses.
RFIs - Link questions, clarifications, or design changes related to an asset before or during installation. For example, an RFI might document a change in asset model, installation location, capacity, or design requirements. Linking these to the Asset provides valuable context on why certain decisions were made.
Scheduling - Link activities related to assets, such as fabrication, delivery, installation, commissioning, startup, or handover, so teams can track progress.
Submittals - Link submittals for asset procurement that include specifications, shop drawings, and product details. After purchasing, these records serve as a permanent repository for warranty information, manuals, and documentation linked to the asset across its lifecycle. You can retroactively link an asset's submittal at any time.
