Manage Saved Views for Change Events (Beta)

This feature is currently in open beta and is available to Procore customers by opting through Procore Explore.

After creating custom views in the Change Events tool, you can manage them by updating, deleting, or sharing them across company level. These saved views allows you to adapt shared layouts  to shifting project workflows  and collaborate more efficiently using direct links.

Things to Consider

  • All shared links are maintained by the platform's data security. When you distribute a link, the recipients are restricted to viewing only the change event information that matches their own assigned permission levels. 


Prerequisites

Required User Permissions:

  • 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Change Events tool to modify or delete a Personal or Project-level view.

  • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Change Events tool to modify or delete a Company-level view.

Steps

Update a Saved View

  1. Navigate to the project's Change Events tool.

  2. Select the layout you want to modify from the views drop-down menu.

  3. Make your desired adjustments to the active filters, column groupings, or layouts.

  4. Click Update View to save the modifications to your current layout.

Delete a Saved View

  1. Navigate to the project's Change Events tool.

  2. Select the layout you want to remove from the views drop-down menu.

  3. Click Edit/Delete.

  4. Confirm the removal to delete the layout permanently.

Share a Saved View

  1. Select the desired layout from your views drop-down menu.

  2. Click the link icon to copy the direct link to your clipboard.

  3. Send the copied link to your project collaborators.

Note: You can easily remove unwanted configuration or restore your original layout at any time, by selecting one of the core system defaults from the drop-down menu.
