Add Delay Entries (iOS)
Background
The Delays section allows you to track any delays that occur or exist during the day.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions:
To create entries:
'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Daily Log tool.
To create pending entries as a collaborator:
'Read Only' or 'Standard' permissions on the project's Daily Log tool with the 'Collaborator Entry Only' granular permission enabled on your permissions template. See Create Daily Log Entries as a Collaborator.
Additional Information:
The Delays section must be enabled for the project. See Configure Advanced Settings: Daily Log.
You can add custom delay types for the project, as well as disable or enable types. See Configure Advanced Settings: Daily Log.
There is no limit to the number of delays you can create for a day. However, if you want to enter a delay that lasts over 24 hours, you will need to enter it on each day it impacts.
Users with 'Admin' permission to the project's Directory tool can enable Delay email notifications for other users. See Edit a User Account in the Project Directory.
Delays in the Daily Log can be reported on in the Project and Company level Reports tools. See Create a Custom Project Report.
If you want to enter weather delays, you can also use the Observed Weather Conditions section. See Create Observed Weather Condition Entries.
You can configure which items are created using the quick create
icon. See Configure Quick Create Settings.
Steps
Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
The Tools screen loads, displaying all tools available for this project.Tap the date for which you want to create a new entry.
Do one of the following:
Tap the quick create
icon and select Delay Entry.Tap the Daily Log tool and tap Delays. Then, tap the create
icon.
Tap the fields and enter the information.
Note: Click the caret icon > to expand and v to collapse the field names and their descriptions below.
Tap Create.
The log entry is created or added.
Tip
Click Fix Errors to navigate to the first empty required field (if the required fields are empty or blank).
Click Next Field or Previous Field to view other empty fields. Once all required fields are filled, you are able to create or save the form.
