Search for Objects in a Model

It's easy to find specific components within your project's 3D models. Use the search function and object tree to locate any item you need.

• Required User Permissions

1. Navigate to the project's Models tool.

2. Click the model that you want to view in the 3D Model Viewer.

3. Open the Model Objects window by clicking Objects from the toolbar or using a keyboard shortcut:

   • Windows: ALT + O

   • Mac: OPTION + O

4. Search for the object. Type the object's name into the search bar and press ENTER (or RETURN) or click the Search 🔎 icon .

5. View your results. The search bar shows the number of matching objects, and the tree view highlights them.

6. Navigate the object tree:

   • Click Expand ️ to view the objects in the branch.

   • Click Collapse to hide the branch.
