Link Multiple Mapped Properties

Within your map, you have the ability to tie two or more properties together. The major benefit of linking properties is how quickly you can view specific information and navigate to items that are a part of a single work task. Here's how you link properties in your map:

  1. Locate an property you want to link another property to. Either find the property's location on the map or search for it in Table View.

  2. Click on the desired property to open its field form and click on the "Links" tab.

  3. Then, click on the icon with the "plus and chain" symbol.

  4. This opens a window that allows you to link any mapped item or any other file (see related article Attach a file to an property). Locate the property you want to link to the current property in the second tab, "Library."

  5. Click the check box next to the property you want to link to the current property. You can link more than one properties by clicking the check boxes next to the property names.

  6. Click "Link" in the bottom right corner.

  7. The linked properties will appear in the original property's "Links" tab.

Now, you can view all linked properties (and other files) in the "Links" tab. In that tab, you can quickly center the linked properties on the map and view additional information.
