Restart Trimble Services on your Vista Server

Background

When the Viewpoint® Vista™ connector is implemented, a Trimble Service User is created in your Vista™ database. This service user allows the connector to write data directly to your server, ensuring that information stays synchronized between Procore and Vista™. If this connection is interrupted, you must restart the specific Trimble services on your server to resume data synchronization.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • Administrative access to the local server where the Trimble services are installed.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Vista™ SQL server.

  2. Open the Services control panel.

  3. Locate the Trimble Connector service.

  4. Right-click the service and select Restart (or Start if the service is stopped).

  5. Locate the Trimble Monitor service.

  6. Right-click the service and select Restart (or Start if the service is stopped).

Next Steps

After restarting the services, verify the connection status in the ERP Integrations tool in Procore. If you were working with Procore's ERP Support team, respond to your support representative so they can verify that the connection has been re-established in the logs.
