Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) features and documentation are subject to change without notice. Please be aware that this content is restricted to beta participants and requires a direct link to access.

    • How to Access: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • How to Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • How to report critical issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.


Currently, only Admin permissions are available. Procore will add more permission levels later.

The Model Manager (Beta) landing page serves as the central hub for managing your project's Building Information Modeling (BIM) data within Procore. It provides a unified view of the federated project model, individual file versions, and saved project views to streamline communication and coordination.

Tailored Roles & Views

The landing page can be viewed on your mobile device in Portrait or Landscape mode. To ensure a tailored experience, there are separate Admin and non-Admin experiences.

Admin Experience

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Choose one of these options to view the federated project model:

    • Federated Project Model. At the top of the page, tap Open.

    • Project Views. Only Admins can create project views. If project views exist, they appear in this area. Tap a tile to open a view in the Next-Gen Viewer.

  3. If you have multiple project views, use the Search Project Views function to find a specific view. To hide the keyboard only on an iPhone, tap Cancel.

  4. Use Pull to Refresh. To refresh the on-screen data, tap the screen and slide your finger down.

Non-Admin Experience

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Choose one of these options to view the federated project model:

    • Federated Project Model. At the top of the page, tap Open.

    • Project Views. Only Admins can create project views. If project views exist, they appear in this area. Tap a tile to open a view in the Next-Gen Viewer.

    • Model Files. Only Admins have access to manage the discipline files that comprise the federated project model in Model Manager.

  3. If you have multiple project views, use the Search Project Views function to find a specific view. To hide the keyboard only on an iPhone, tap Cancel.

  4. Use Pull to Refresh. To refresh the on-screen data, tap the screen and slide your finger down.
