Why are Alternate Estimate Settings Missing from my Estimate Proposal?

Alternate settings only appear in the Primary estimate after you have successfully included an alternate estimate in your primary estimate. See Include an Alternate Estimate with the Primary Estimate.

Available Alternate Estimate Settings

After you include an alternate, the following settings appear in the primary estimate proposal:

• Include Additional Alternates: Use this to manage which additional estimates are linked to the primary.

• Include Items from Alternates: Use this to pull specific line items from your alternate estimates into the primary view.

• Include Alternate Estimate Totals: Use this to factor the financial totals of your alternates into the primary estimate's overall total.

Why don't I see these settings in my other estimates?

These settings are exclusive to the primary estimate. If you are currently viewing an alternate estimate or have not yet linked an alternate estimate to the primary estimate, these options will be hidden.
