View Equipment on the Map in the Company Equipment Tool

Scanning an Equipment QR code updates the equipment's location on the tool's map. This update uses the GPS location of the scanning device, if Location Services are enabled on the device.

If your company has connected telematics, equipment is added to the map based on telematics data.

• Required User Permissions

• The location updates in the following ways:

  • Through telematics connection data.

  • When a user with Location Services enabled on their phone scans the equipment's QR code.

    Company Administrators can enable the Resource Management: Q3 Improvements early access program in Procore Explore. (US 2 | UK)
    
    

    • When equipment is marked 'On Site', equipment will reflect the project's address.
      Note: This is for accounts without telematics.

One of the following must be true:

• The equipment is connected to telematics.

• The QR code for the equipment must be scanned, and Location Services must be enabled on the scanning device.

1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.

2. Click the Map view.
