Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

Use the Coordinates tool to identify the exact spatial location of elements within a model. By placing coordinate labels on various lines, edges, or surfaces, you can ensure high levels of accuracy for layout and installation tasks.

  • Additional Information:

    • Coordinate labels snap to lines, edges, points, and surfaces in the model.

    • Placing a coordinate label displays its X, Y, and Z values.

    • Change the measurement system by clicking Settings.

    • Once saved, coordinate labels are fixed and can't be edited.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Tap the Procore icon on your device to launch the Procore Mobile app.

  2. Find and tap the project to open.

  3. Tap Model Manager (Beta) in the Tools menu.

  4. Open a project model.

  5. Click Measurements.

  7. Tap any line, edge, or surface in the 3D model and drag to place a new coordinate label. This image shows how to drag the cursor to create a new coordinate with the Coordinates tool in the Next Gen Viewer of the Model Manager tool.

  9. (Optional). Additional options:

    • Move coordinates. Tap, hold, and drag to a different spot. This image shows a coordinate being moved with the Coordinates tool in the Next Gen Viewer of the Model Manager

    • Remove coordinates. Hover over the coordinates label and tap This image shows the Exit Mode icon in the Right Toolbar of the Viewer in the Model Manager tool. next to the coordinate.

    • Change the measurement system. Tap Settings and choose Imperial or Metric (Millimeters or Meters).

    • Reset the view. Tap Reset to clear the view and place new coordinates.

    • Discard the measurement without saving. Tap Exit to cancel any unsaved measurements and exit coordinates mode.

  10. When finished, tap This shows the Save and Exit button in the right toolbar in the viewer in the Model Manager tool Save. Saved coordinate labels are fixed and can't be edited afterward.
