Who can use the Bluebeam integration?
Answer
To install and use the integration, users must meet the following administrative, tool, and account requirements:
Required Roles & Permissions:
To Install the Integration: You must have 'Company Admin' level permissions in Procore. Installing the integration enables Bluebeam company-wide across all projects in your company account.
To Create or Finalize Studio Sessions: You must have 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Submittals tool.
To Join or Markup PDFs in Studio Sessions: Any user invited to a Submittal workflow (such as Approvers or Submittal Managers) can participate in the Bluebeam Studio Session once it is created.
Bluebeam Account & Software Requirements:
Active Bluebeam Account: Users must have an active Bluebeam account (email address and password) to sign in and authenticate with Bluebeam from Procore.
Supported Licenses: A paid Bluebeam Core or Bluebeam Complete subscription allows Session Creators to delegate 'Full Control' permissions to other users. If a Session Creator uses a free Bluebeam account, they will be the only individual capable of finalizing the session and pulling markups back into Procore.
No Studio Prime Required: A Bluebeam Studio Prime license is not required to use this integration.
Regional Availability & Server Routing:
US Region Only: The integration is currently available exclusively for US-region accounts.
US Server Routing: All authentication and Studio Session workflows route through the US Bluebeam servers (
api.bluebeam.comfor API calls andstudio.bluebeam.comfor Studio Sessions). Selecting alternative regional Bluebeam servers (such as AU, DE, UK, or SE) is not supported.
