Overview
Procore supports two types of material transfers based on where your inventory needs to go. Standard transfers move materials to a new storage location within the same project. If item statuses change during this process, Procore automatically updates your 'Quantity Available' counts.
For moving inventory across job sites, create an inter-project transfer. Once finalized, Procore automatically generates a shipment for the receiving project. When that team receives the shipment, the transfer status updates to 'Transfer Complete' or 'Transfer Received' across both projects.
